About Us

Service. Quality. ValueOur company was founded on customer service, and our commitment to our customer's continues to be our guiding principle.

F. Paul Valenti, Sr. opened Chicago Tag & Label, Inc. as a stringing facility in 1946. Within a few years, he added the ability to manufacture basic mono-tags. As the business grew, he added more capabilities and moved the company to our current location. His son, F. Paul Valenti, Jr., continues his father's legacy today as we currently manufacture numerous custom tags, custom labels, and custom forms with a strong focus on unique, innovative products.

Since we are a custom manufacturer, we are able to produce almost any tag, label or form based on your specifications. With more than 60 years of experience in the industry, we have access to a multitude of materials such as tag, pressure sensitive, synthetic, thermal, ledger, laser and more.

We offer numerous specialties such as barcodes, sequential numbering, variable imaging, reinforcements, integrated labels and forms and custom packaging. Furthermore, we offer complete systems with thermal transfer printers, ribbons and labels. We support our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment with 100% in-line barcode verification systems that verify your barcodes in real-time while they are on the press. Our lab-testing equipment allows us to test numerous aspects of your products, such as release rates, mil thickness, paper/bond properties; and simulated environments and application testing are performed to assure that they are manufactured to your exact specifications.
